Bottle Share on October 14th at 7:15 PM

Bring a couple bottles of your homebrewed beer, cider, wine, mead, or whatever to share with others.  If you're new to homebrewing or just don't have any spare bottles, don't worry—you're welcome to come.

Bottle shares are a great opportunity to try others' homebrews, get feedback on your own homebrew, and trade tips, tricks and stories.  But mostly, it's a time to hang out and have fun with fellow beer lovers.

Remember to bring a mask!  This is a free event.

New Seasonal Recipe Kit - Fall Farmhouse

On Tap At Gnome Brew

Hop Sampler: Vic Secret

Vic Secret is an Australian bred and grown hop--the result of a cross pollination of high alpha Australian and Wye College hops, which provides an interesting mix of English, European and North American heritage.

It imparts tropical fruit and a clean pineapple flavor with subtle notes of pine and herbs, best accessed by dry hopping or whirlpool addition. Late kettle addition imparts pleasant earthy flavors without the fruit.

Local Porter

We rebrewed one of our favorites for the cooler weather--A brown porter brewed exclusively with local ingredients: malts from Indiana craft maltster Sugar Creek include Pale Ale, Crystal 40, Brown, Chocolate, and Rauchmalt;  hops from Great Lakes Hops in Michigan;  yeast from Omega Yeast in Chicago; and, of course, water from Lake Michigan.

Hop Harvest Ale

An amber ale whirlpool hopped with 20 ounces of wet Cascade hops freshly harvested by a generous customer in the neighborhood.

On Deck

Hop Sampler: Pahto

Release in 2018, Pahto was bred for bittering.  This hop packs 17 – 20% alpha acid and imparts a smooth and clean bitterness when used in the early boil.

The aroma profile of the hop cone is described as herbal, earthy, woody, and resinous with some fruit.

The name Pahto™ is inspired by the native name for Mount Adams, the second-highest mountain in Washington State, and the most prominent landmark seen from the Yakima Valley.
