Briess Concentrated Brewers Wort
Briess malt extracts are Concentrated Brewers Wort (CBW®). A careful dehydration process allows these extracts to retain their color and flavor for a variety of homebrewing applications. Extracts can be used as a stand-in for base malts for a simplified, quicker brew day as in our Simply Brewing® 1-Hour and 3-Hour Brewing Kits. CBW® can also be utilized in all-grain brews to make minor adjustments to color and flavor or as an addition of highly fermentable sugars to boost gravity before fermentation. Other uses include propagating yeast or to aid in head retention.
Available in both dry malt extract (DME) 1 lb. and 3 lb. bags and liquid malt extract (LME) 3.3 lb cans. Use within 2 years for best results.
