Drunk Monk Homebrew Competition

The Urban Knaves of Grain Homebrew Club is holding their 24th Annual Drunk Monk Challenge, an AHA Sanctioned Homebrew Competition.  Competitions are a great way to get objective feedback on your brews… and maybe win some prizes!

Registration opens February 7th and the deadline to drop off is March 4th, so start planning your brew day!

For your convenience, you may drop off your entries at Gnome Brew.

Virtual Bottle Swap Returns For February Bottle Share

February 10^th, 7:30 PM via Zoom

We're back to a virtual bottle share for February, but we will be pairing it with a bottle swap!  While this is optional, we encourage everyone to participate.

Here's How It Works:

• Bring in 6 bottles (or cans) of homebrew to Gnome Brew anytime by Friday February 4^th
• We will build mixed 6 packs to pass out
• Pick up your mixed 6 pack starting Friday, February 4^th and ending 6 PM Thursday, February 10^th
• Log onto our Zoom bottle share and enjoy sharing physical beer across virtual space!

6 beers is optional, and more or less is fine. We’ll do our best to get everyone about the same amount of beer. Homebrewed is best, but if you don’t have anything ready to share and you’d like to participate, commercial beverages are fine.

Wine, mead and cider are of course also welcome.  We can provide you with small bottles if needed.

Our most basic class is perfect for those who want to try brewing beer at home without committing too much time or acquiring lots of brewing equipment.

$35 - includes beer samples and a few bottles of the beer you make for pickup later. This class runs about 2 hours.
