Dunkelweizen - 3 Hour Recipe Kit

Inspired by beers such as: Ayinger Ur-Weisse, Weihenstephaner Hefeweissbier Dunkel, Hacker-Pschorr Weisse Dark

Dunkelweizen is a traditional German beer style known for its rich and complex flavors. It is a dark wheat beer that combines the characteristics of a hefeweizen and a Munich Dunkel. The beer has a deep amber to dark brown color with a hazy appearance due to the presence of yeast. It offers a balanced blend of maltiness and fruity esters, with notes of banana, clove, and dark fruits like plum or raisin. The wheat imparts a smooth and creamy mouthfeel, while the moderate carbonation adds a refreshing touch.

Simply Brewing® 3 Hour Recipe Kits contain all the ingredients for new and experienced brewers to easily brew 5 gallons of beer in a simple, 3-hour brewday with the use of a 3 Hour Equipment Kit and any 5+ gallon stovetop pot. The brew process involves dissolving malt extract into heated water, steeping bags of milled grain (if applicable), boiling and/or steeping bags of hop pellets, and cooling the wort (unfermented beer) in a sink to be added to your fermentation vessel. The wort is then topped off with chilled water for an even faster cool, and the yeast is added. All this including cleanup takes just 3 hours!
