GO-FERM™ is the original yeast rehydration nutrient.

- Yeast rehydration nutrient derived from autolyzed wine yeast with optimized bioavailability of micronutrients (vitamins and minerals)
Recommended Dosage: 30 g/hL (2.5 lb/1000 gal)
1 tsp = 3.2 grams.
Usage:
- Use 1.2 grams Go-Ferm per gram of yeast.
- Mix Go-Ferm in 20 ml of 110°F water per gram of Go-Ferm
- Add yeast and stir gently to break up any clumps and let suspension stand for 20 minutes, then stir gently again
- After you start to see activiity, slowly add some must to the yeast slurry to drop the temperature by 10°C (18°F). Let stand 15-20 minutes
- After 10-15 minutes, if starer is within 15˚F of must, add the starter to the must. Otherwise add more must to further cooler starter.
- Stir to disperse yeast throughout must.
