Beta Glucanase Enzyme
Beta Glucanase is an enzyme that catalyzes the breakdown of barley and malt beta-glucans. It reduces wort viscosity, aiding lautering and filtration. Beta Glucanase is especally useful when malt quality may be variable or under modified or with the use of unmalted adjuncts.
Because of its tolerance to a wide range of pH and temperatures it can be used either in mashing or during fermentation of beer.
Usage: 2 to 3 grams per 5 gallons
