Caramel, Brown Bread, AKA Dark Munich 8-9.9ºL

Munich Type 2 is a slightly darker Munich-style malt than Munich Type 1. It will give a greater depth of flavor and color than Munich 1. Munich Type 2 will produce a wort with a rich amber color and pronounced sweetness, including notes of caramel and brown bread. this malt can be used alone, but is frequently used as a complement to other lighter base malts.
