Weyermann Melanoidin malt is specially processed and kilned, giving it a sweet honey and biscuit flavor. It will also contribute a rich deep red color despite its pale appearance. Additionally Melanoidin will aid in head retention and improve mouthfeel like a caramel malt but without additional candy-like sweetness.
