Simpsons Dark Crystal is a crystallized malt with a medium-heavy roast. Its roasting process gives Dark Crystal complex aromas and flavors of toffee, burnt caramel and raisin without the bitterness of a fully roasted dark malt. It will also contribute reddish colors to a wort.
