A light colored Wheat base malt. White Wheat can be used alone as a base malt or as part of a larger grain bill. It will contribute a light color similar to a traditional 2-Row, but with the addition of a subtle bready flavor. A small addition can contribute to improved head retention. Consider using rice hulls or another filtration aid with larger additions.
