When used as a base malt Briess Pale Ale will impart a medium-sweet flavor with hints of biscuit and nuts, along with a rich golden color. Not just a darker Brewers malt, Pale Ale has been carefully kilned to achieve its distinct character. Useful as a base malt for richer, maltier styles.
