Briess Caramel 80 is a medium roasted crystal malt. It will contribute reddish hues to a wort along with strong caramel flavor, with hints of lightly burnt sugar and raisin. In addition to color and flavor enhancement, Caramel 80 will also improve head retention and mouthfeel.
