Gnome Brew is having a pumpkin carving contest! We'll provide you with a pumpkin and carving tools—you provide the creativity. Everyone will vote on their favorite and the winner will receive a Gnome Brew swag pack.
While we're carving, we'll also be brewing a pumpkin beer and we'll throw in all the carved out pumpkin pieces. Gnome Brew will ferment and bottle the beer and you'll be able to take home a few bottles in time for Thanksgiving.
Gnome Brew is getting a whole load of fresh apple cider from a farm in Michigan and we're passing along the savings to you. This cider is:

Come out for our monthly bottle share on Thursday, October 10 at 7:15 PM. We had a great turnout last month, lots of fun, and lots of great beer!
Just bring a couple bottles of your homebrewed beer, cider, wine, mead, or whatever to share with others. If you're new to homebrewing or just don't have any spare bottles, don't worry—you're welcome to come.
Bottle shares are a great opporunity to try others' homebrews, get feedback on your own homebrew, and trade tips, tricks and stories. But mostly, it's a time to hang out and have fun with fellow beer lovers.
This is a free event.
We're continuing our Hop Sampler Series—an exploration of single hop beers, all with the same base recipe. We’ve dedicated a tap handle to always have a hop sampler pouring.
Mt. Hood is an American hop bred to produce a Hallertau-type hop that grows well in the US, and it definitely does the job. Its mild, herbal and lemony character work well in any lager or wheat beer, and with an alpha acid content of 5-7%, it can be used for bittering as well as aroma. It's a great alternative to Hallertau Mittelfruh and very closely related to Liberty and Crystal, all having Hallertau for one of its parents. Its other parent, USDA 19058M, has been used to produce Lemondrop, Super Galena, and Denali.
Come in and try it for yourself!
We're always adding more ingredients so you can perfect your favorite recipe or build a new one.
